"The best celebrations aren't remembered because everything went perfectly... they're remembered because everyone was together."
The celebration was far from over.
After the emotional group hug...
Advik suddenly clapped his hands loudly.
"Enough crying!"
"It's Brothers' Day!"
"We're supposed to celebrate!"
Vivaan immediately agreed.
"Exactly!"
"Our Twinny isn't allowed to cry today."
Aadhya laughed, wiping away the last of her tears.
"Okay."
"No more crying."
Advik grinned.
"Now that's my Munchkin."
The entire Rathore family moved to the beautifully decorated garden.
A long table stood beneath colorful ribbons and fairy lights.
At the center...
Was a huge two-tier cake.
The cake was white and sky blue with tiny edible stars decorating the sides.
Written across the top in elegant icing were the words—
❤️ Forever, Seven Hearts... One Family ❤️
Aadhya's eyes sparkled.
"It's beautiful..."
Vivaan proudly puffed out his chest.
"I designed it."
Vihaan immediately interrupted,
"You chose the colors."
"The baker designed it."
Vivaan crossed his arms.
"Details."
Everyone burst into laughter.
The photographer hired for the family photoshoot had been invited once again to capture the celebration.
He smiled warmly.
"I don't think I've ever photographed a family this lively."
Advik winked.
"You haven't even seen lunch yet."
"Time to cut the cake!"
Ramu Kaka announced happily.
Everyone gathered around the table.
Vikram stood behind his children.
The brothers naturally made space for Aadhya in the center.
She looked around.
"Shouldn't one of you stand here?"
Aryaveer smiled.
"No."
"You belong in the middle."
Vivaan immediately grabbed her right hand.
"I'm helping Twinny."
Advik grabbed the other side of the knife dramatically.
"I'm helping too."
"You'll drop it."
"I will not."
"You definitely will."
"I definitely won't."
Vihaan sighed.
"Can someone remove these two?"
The entire family laughed.
Finally...
All six brothers placed one hand over Aadhya's.
Together...
The seven siblings held the cake knife.
The photographer smiled.
"Ready?"
Everyone nodded.
"Three..."
"Two..."
"One..."
The knife gently sliced through the cake.
But just as Aadhya lifted it...
Her finger accidentally brushed against the sharp edge.
"Ouch!"
She quickly pulled her hand back.
A tiny red drop of blood appeared on her index finger.
The smile disappeared from every brother's face.
"Twinny!"
Vivaan grabbed her hand first.
"You're bleeding!"
Advik's cheerful expression vanished instantly.
"What happened?"
Vihaan immediately searched for tissues.
"Arya Bhai!"
"First-aid kit!"
Aryaveer was already calling out,
"Ramu Kaka!"
"Bring the first-aid box."
Rudransh gently took Aadhya's hand.
"Let me see."
She smiled awkwardly.
"It's just a tiny cut."
"No."
Six brothers answered together.
"It isn't."
The photographer quietly lowered his camera.
Even he smiled at the scene unfolding before him.
Rudransh carefully cleaned the small cut with antiseptic.
"It'll sting a little."
Aadhya nodded bravely.
"I know."
She didn't even flinch.
Advik frowned.
"How are you not reacting?"
She smiled.
"I've had much worse."
The sentence slipped out before she could stop herself.
Silence.
Every brother understood what she meant.
There had been a time...
When cuts like these had been ignored.
When no one had cared enough to notice.
Now...
Six people were panicking over a scratch.
Rudransh gently blew on the wound after applying the medicine.
"There."
"All done."
He wrapped a cute cartoon bandage around her finger.
Vivaan looked at it carefully.
"Can we put another one?"
"No."
"What if this one falls off?"
"It won't."
"What if—"
"Vivaan."
"Okay..."
Everyone smiled.
Vikram kissed the top of Aadhya's head.
"My brave girl."
She smiled.
"I'm okay, Papa."
He nodded.
"I know."
"But that doesn't stop us from worrying."
Advik suddenly raised his hand.
"Important announcement."
Everyone looked at him.
"The cake-cutting ceremony has officially been interrupted by..."
He pointed dramatically at Aadhya.
"...our accident-prone Munchkin."
Aadhya gasped.
"I am not accident-prone!"
Vihaan laughed.
"Really?"
"The bicycle."
"The fever."
"The picnic."
"The paper cuts."
"The cake knife."
Vivaan counted on his fingers.
"That's... actually a lot."
Aadhya pouted.
"You all are bullying me."
Aryaveer smiled.
"No."
"We're teasing you."
"There's a difference."
A fresh knife was brought.
This time...
Rudransh carefully held Aadhya's bandaged hand away from the blade.
"No touching the sharp edge."
"Doctor's orders."
She saluted playfully.
"Yes, Doctor Bhaiya."
Once again...
The seven siblings held the knife together.
The cake was finally cut.
Everyone cheered loudly.
"Happy Brothers' Day!"
"Happy Siblings' Day!"
Vivaan immediately fed the first bite to Aadhya.
She laughed before feeding him one in return.
Then...
One by one...
She fed cake to Aryaveer...
Rudransh...
Veeransh...
Advik...
Vihaan...
And finally Vikram.
Each of them lovingly fed her a bite back.
The photographer captured every smile.
Every laugh.
Every tiny moment.
Of course...
Peace lasted exactly thirty seconds.
Advik quietly scooped a little frosting onto his finger.
He looked at Vivaan.
Vivaan looked back.
Both grinned.
"Oh no..."
Aadhya whispered.
Too late.
SPLAT!
A tiny blob of cream landed on Vivaan's nose.
He gasped dramatically.
"You started a cake war!"
"No..."
Advik laughed.
"I improved the celebration."
Vivaan grabbed a handful of frosting.
"Retaliation!"
Within moments...
Cream flew everywhere.
Vihaan got frosting in his hair.
Aryaveer somehow ended up with icing on his shoulder despite trying to stay out of it.
Rudransh sighed as someone accidentally smeared cream on his cheek.
Even Veeransh wasn't spared.
Aadhya giggled so hard that she could barely stand.
Seeing his children laughing uncontrollably...
Vikram quietly picked up a little frosting.
He walked behind Advik.
And gently tapped it onto his forehead.
Advik froze.
"...Papa?"
Vikram smiled innocently.
"What?"
"You looked too clean."
The garden erupted into another round of laughter.
Even Veeransh laughed openly.
A rare, genuine laugh that echoed through the lawn.
Aadhya looked around at her family.
Cream-covered faces.
Ruined clothes.
Uncontrollable laughter.
And a tiny bandage wrapped around her finger...
A reminder that even the smallest hurt would never go unnoticed again.
She looked at her brothers with a heart full of gratitude.
Maybe perfect days didn't exist.
But days like this...
Filled with laughter, love, teasing, and care...
Were even better.
Because they were real.
And they were hers.
To Be Continued...
