Chapter 52-The First Brothers' Day ❤️

"Brothers don't always say 'I love you.' Sometimes they simply show up, stay beside you, and make sure you never walk alone."

The first Sunday of May arrived with bright sunshine over Jaipur.

At breakfast, Aadhya noticed something unusual.

All six of her brothers were whispering among themselves.

The moment she entered the dining room...

They suddenly stopped talking.

Advik smiled a little too innocently.

"Good morning, Munchkin."

Vivaan quickly hid something behind his back.

"Morning, Twinny!"

Aadhya narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

"What are you all planning?"

"Nothing," all six brothers answered together.

She looked at Vikram.

"Papa..."

"They're lying."

Vikram took a sip of his tea and smiled.

"I have no idea what they're are planning."

Aadhya wasn't convinced.

After breakfast...

She walked into the living room.

It was empty.

The kitchen?

Empty.

Garden?

Empty.

Library?

Empty.

She frowned.

"Where did everyone go?"

Just then...

Ramu Kaka appeared with a smile.

"Bitiya."

"Your brothers asked me to give you this."

He handed her a small cream-coloured envelope.

Curiously, she opened it.

Inside was a handwritten note.

Dear Chhoti,

Meet us in the garden at 11 o'clock.

Don't ask questions.

And don't be late.

—Your Six Annoying Brothers

Aadhya couldn't help laughing.

"Six annoying brothers?"

She shook her head.

"They're impossible."

At exactly eleven...

She stepped into the garden.

And froze.

The entire lawn had been beautifully decorated.

Blue and white balloons floated gently in the breeze.

A long table was covered with snacks, chocolates and desserts.

A banner hung between two trees.

❤️ Happy Brothers' Day ❤️

Fairy lights still decorated the gazebo from the previous evening.

Soft instrumental music played in the background.

In the centre stood...

Her six brothers.

All smiling at her.

"Twinny!"

Vivaan ran forward first.

He held out a small bouquet of white daisies.

"For you."

Aadhya looked surprised.

"For me?"

He nodded proudly.

"You made us brothers again."

She blinked.

"What?"

Before she could ask anything else...

Advik cleared his throat dramatically.

"Attention, everyone!"

"Today..."

"We are celebrating our very first Brothers' Day..."

"...with our sister."

He smiled warmly.

"Because before you came..."

"It was always just the six of us."

"And now..."

"It finally feels complete."

Aadhya felt her eyes sting.

Vihaan stepped forward holding a neatly wrapped gift.

"This one's from me."

She opened it carefully.

Inside was a beautiful sports watch.

"You always lose track of time while sketching."

He grinned.

"So now you have no excuse."

She laughed.

"Thank you, Pumpkin Bhaiya."

He smiled.

"You're welcome."

Advik dramatically pushed everyone aside.

"My turn!"

He handed her a large gift box.

Inside...

Were chocolates.

Lots and lots of chocolates.

Different brands.

Different flavours.

Different sizes.

Aadhya looked at him in disbelief.

"This is... so much!"

He folded his arms proudly.

"No one should ever run out of emergency chocolates."

She laughed so hard that everyone joined in.

Rudransh quietly walked over next.

He gave her a beautifully bound leather journal.

"The first pages are empty."

He smiled gently.

"I thought..."

"...you might like filling them with your sketches, thoughts and dreams."

Aadhya gently ran her fingers across the cover.

It was beautiful.

"Thank you..."

"Dove deserves the best journal."

He smiled.

Aryaveer came forward holding a long rectangular package.

Inside...

Was a personalized fountain pen.

Her name was engraved in silver.

Aadhya Rathore

She looked at it silently.

"It's beautiful."

Aryaveer smiled.

"I hope one day..."

"You'll sign many achievements with it."

She hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, Sunshine?"

He laughed.

"I think I'm supposed to call you that."

She giggled.

"I know."

Veeransh quietly stepped forward.

Like always...

He didn't speak much.

He simply handed her a wrapped book.

She carefully opened it.

It was a special illustrated edition of Little Women—one she had admired months ago in a bookstore but never asked for because it was expensive.

She looked up at him.

"You remembered?"

"I told you once."

"I remember everything."

Her eyes became moist.

"You always do."

He gently patted her head.

"Happy Brothers' Day, Chhoti."

Finally...

Vivaan walked over carrying something behind his back.

He grinned so widely that everyone already knew this gift was going to be special.

"Ready?"

She nodded.

He revealed...

A large handmade scrapbook.

Its cover read—

Our Twinny ❤️

Every page was filled with photographs.

Her first day at the mansion.

Learning to ride a bicycle.

Movie night.

The shopping trip.

Diwali.

Her fever recovery.

The school trip.

Hospital visits.

The pillow fight.

Midnight ice cream.

Annual Day.

Student of the Year.

Family photos.

Tiny handwritten notes surrounded every picture.

"Twinny's first laugh."

"Munchkin stole my chocolate."

"Sunshine's biggest smile."

"Pumpkin laughed too much today."

"Dove painted this."

"Chhoti came home."

By the final page...

There was one sentence written by all six brothers.

"Thank you for choosing us as much as we chose you."

A tear slipped down Aadhya's cheek.

"You all..."

She looked around.

"When did you make this?"

Vivaan proudly answered,

"Secret meetings."

Advik nodded.

"Operation Surprise Sister."

Vihaan added,

"Keeping it hidden from you was the hardest part."

Aadhya wiped her tears.

"I... I didn't bring anything for you."

Vivaan immediately shook his head.

"No."

"You already gave us everything."

She looked confused.

"What?"

Aryaveer smiled softly.

"You gave this house laughter."

Rudransh continued,

"You gave us peace."

Vihaan smiled.

"You gave us someone to protect."

Advik grinned.

"You gave me a chocolate partner."

Vivaan hugged her side.

"You gave me my Twinny."

Finally...

Veeransh looked into her eyes.

His voice was quiet.

"You gave us our little sister."

Silence settled over the garden.

Happy silence.

The kind that only families understand.

Aadhya looked at each of them.

Then suddenly ran forward.

She hugged all six brothers together as tightly as she could.

"I love you..."

Her voice trembled.

"So much."

Vivaan hugged her back immediately.

"We love you too, Twinny."

One by one...

The others wrapped their arms around the group hug.

Even Veeransh.

Vikram watched from the veranda, smiling through misty eyes.

For years...

He had worried whether his sons would ever heal after losing Nandini.

Today...

He had his answer.

Healing hadn't happened all at once.

It had happened through shared meals.

Through laughter.

Through late-night conversations.

Through tiny nicknames.

Through countless moments of care.

And through one little girl...

Who had unknowingly stitched seven hearts into one family.

As the afternoon filled with games, laughter, photographs and far too many chocolates...

Aadhya looked around at her brothers.

Then smiled to herself.

Because this was the first Brothers' Day she had ever celebrated.

And she silently promised herself...

It would never be the last.

To Be Continued...
