Chapter 50-Student of the Year

"Sometimes, the greatest victory isn't winning a trophy—it's finding the people who believe you deserved one all along."

The applause following Aadhya's speech slowly faded.

Students returned to their seats.

Teachers smiled proudly.

Parents continued whispering about the heartfelt speech that had touched everyone in the auditorium.

Backstage, Aadhya took a deep breath.

She still couldn't believe she had spoken in front of so many people.

Siya hugged her tightly.

"You were incredible!"

Kiara nodded enthusiastically.

"I nearly cried."

Dev dramatically wiped imaginary tears.

"I definitely cried."

Kabir laughed.

"You cry during advertisements too."

Arjun smiled proudly.

"You spoke from your heart."

Aadhya smiled shyly.

"Thank you... all of you."

Meanwhile...

The Rathores sat together in the front row.

Vivaan still couldn't stop smiling.

"Our Twinny is the best speaker in the whole school."

Advik grinned.

"Obviously."

"She learned confidence from me."

Vihaan rolled his eyes.

"She learned patience from dealing with you."

Even Veeransh let out a quiet chuckle.

Aryaveer looked toward the stage with quiet pride.

"I don't think I've ever been this proud."

Vikram simply smiled.

His eyes never left the stage.

The Principal walked back to the podium.

"Ladies and gentlemen..."

"Before we conclude today's Annual Day Celebration..."

"We have one final announcement."

The entire auditorium grew silent.

Every student sat a little straighter.

Everyone knew what was coming.

The most prestigious honour of the year.

"The Student of the Year Award is presented to a student who has demonstrated excellence in academics, discipline, leadership, creativity, compassion, and character."

A large screen displayed photographs of students participating in different school activities.

The Principal continued,

"This year's recipient has consistently inspired teachers and classmates alike."

"She has excelled in academics..."

"Represented the school in art..."

"Displayed extraordinary kindness toward others..."

"And reminded us that true strength lies in humility."

Aadhya looked around nervously.

She didn't even consider that the announcement could be about her.

The Principal smiled warmly.

"And the Student of the Year Award goes to..."

A brief pause filled the hall.

"...Miss Aadhya Rathore!"

For a heartbeat...

Aadhya simply stared.

She didn't move.

She wondered if she had heard correctly.

Siya grabbed her hand.

"Aadhya!"

"You won!"

Kiara squealed excitedly.

"Go!"

Dev nearly jumped out of his seat.

"I knew it!"

Kabir smiled proudly.

"Congratulations."

Arjun gently patted her shoulder.

"You deserve it."

The auditorium erupted into applause.

Students from every class stood cheering.

Teachers smiled proudly.

The sound echoed through the hall.

Then...

Seven familiar figures rose from the front row.

Aryaveer stood first.

Followed by Rudransh.

Veeransh.

Advik.

Vihaan.

Vivaan.

And finally...

Vikram.

The entire Rathore family gave her a standing ovation.

Vivaan clapped so enthusiastically that several students around him laughed.

"That's my Twinny!"

Advik joined in proudly.

"She's our sister!"

Vihaan smiled.

"Our Pumpkin did it."

Rudransh's eyes shone with quiet pride.

"Our Dove always flies high."

Aryaveer looked toward the stage.

"Our Sunshine."

Veeransh smiled softly.

"Well done... Chhoti."

Aadhya slowly walked toward the stage.

Her hands trembled.

Her heart raced.

As she climbed the steps...

She looked at her family.

Every one of them was smiling at her.

Not because she had won.

But because she had become the person she was always meant to be.

The Principal handed her the golden trophy and a certificate.

"Congratulations, Aadhya."

"You make this school proud."

She accepted them with both hands.

"Thank you, Ma'am."

Just as she turned to leave...

The Principal gently stopped her.

"Would you like to say a few words?"

Aadhya looked surprised.

Then nodded softly.

She stepped toward the microphone.

The hall became quiet once again.

She looked at the shining trophy in her hands.

Then toward the audience.

Finally...

Her eyes found the Rathore family.

She smiled.

"This award has my name on it..."

"But it belongs to many people."

"My teachers who believed in me."

"My friends who stood beside me."

"And..."

Her voice softened.

"...the family who taught me what love truly feels like."

She looked directly at Vikram and her brothers.

A tear slipped down her cheek.

"I dedicate this award..."

"...to the family who chose me when I thought nobody ever would."

Silence.

Then...

The entire auditorium burst into applause once more.

Many teachers wiped away tears.

Parents smiled emotionally.

Even the Principal looked deeply moved.

In the front row...

Vikram could no longer hold back his emotions.

A tear rolled down his cheek.

He quietly wiped it away.

Aryaveer noticed and smiled.

"Papa..."

Vikram looked at the stage again.

"I've attended many award ceremonies."

"But this..."

He smiled proudly.

"...this is the most precious moment of my life."

As Aadhya stepped off the stage...

Vivaan was the first to reach her.

He hugged her tightly.

"I told you!"

"My Twinny is the best!"

Advik ruffled her hair.

"Our Munchkin is officially famous now."

Vihaan grinned.

"I'm taking a picture with the Student of the Year."

Rudransh gently kissed the top of her head.

"We're proud of you, Dove."

Aryaveer smiled warmly.

"You've made this family proud, Sunshine."

Veeransh placed a hand on her shoulder.

"You earned every bit of this, Chhoti."

Finally...

Vikram embraced her lovingly.

"You once wondered if anyone would ever choose you."

He gently held her face.

"Today..."

"The whole world is applauding the daughter we are blessed to call ours."

Aadhya looked around at her family.

The trophy in her hands suddenly felt lighter.

Because the greatest reward wasn't the title.

It wasn't the applause.

It wasn't the medal.

It was knowing that when she stepped off the stage...

Seven people would always be waiting to celebrate with her.

And to Aadhya Rathore...

That was the greatest honour of all.
